I used to have a '92 teal (Montana Green)2.0 16V GTI.
It had the Neuspeed intake cam.
Ran it on the Autobahn alot while stationed in Germany.
When I returned to the States with it, she just didn't run right anymore.
I still miss that car, though.

the car is a 2.0 and we put a 1.8 head on it. since we have done that it has ran better than it ever has! I wish they were BBS but they are not.

Sweet car, it truly is a blessing to have gotten one that only had 30k Miles. Wasn't even broken in by the time you and your father got your hands on it. I had a 91 8v but sold it and am looking to get back behind the wheel of one. I don't understand what is meant by the 1.8 head conversion? I love those black wheels (BBS?). How many miles on it now?
I'd loose those black "fins??" on the side of your hood, and of course the window decal, and probably the extra Hella rally lights, but otherwise this is an excellent example of why mk2 GTi's are the epitome of euro style, and why they have such a great following. Looks like a blast to drive, you just don't need big hp #'s with one of these. congrats!!
